For the European tourist with an eye for a bargain, Calahonda, on the Spanish Costa Del Sol has become a mecca over recent years. Whilst a village technically, one might without problems mistake it for a town. It indeed has everything a town has to offer.

One of Calahonda’s jewels, and only 5 minutes away on the coast road, is the delightful Puerto Cabopino. Being simply approximately 100 metres wide, what it lacks in size it gains in charm. There are numerous restaurants and café’s in the port catering for all tastes and pocket sizes. A terrific location for a vacation photograph. We have sat there on many an afternoon. Next to the port there is a celebrated beach.

Leisure plays a main role in Calahonda lifestyle. as an example there are tennis courts and a fitness centre for those who like to be active. For those that like a stroll there are at least 10 golf courses within a trivial radius. There is also a vast amount of water sports offered to participate in. The majority of the Calahonda bars are in the multi-storey commercial centre, El Zoco. as for restaurants Calahonda boasts at least 45 restaurants and cafeterias

Where to stay? We suggest staying at Las Palmeras. Sat majestically on a hillside providing panoramic views to the sea, Las Palmeras is a brand new community. We are delighted to be able to bestow for your holiday a lot of different types of comfy rental apartments. Ranging from 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, (sleeping 6 persons), to 3 bed roomed penthouses these individualist privately owned apartments provide luxurious living 24 x 7. The apartments are of a incredibly generous proportion, scores of being approximately 110sm internally and having balconies of up to 42.5sm. various apartments have underground garages with private parking spaces.

If you don’t want to use your car you can catch the mini land train which runs down into Calahonda and back at a trivial cost. If you have children they will love the experience.

Here is ‘Sea View' a wonderful example of a Las Palmeras apartment

Calahonda is merely 30 minutes from Malaga Airport and most low cost airlines will obtain you there from the UK in less than 2.5 hours. climate wise intend sunshine 12 months of the year. It will rain in winter but there is much to do and so see whenever you visit! Why not visit Selwo Animal Park at Marbella just 20 minutes away, or see the Apes in Gibraltar and do various duty free shopping, or see how the rich and notorious play at Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Interested? We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.
